Location of the Hotel is in the prime historic district at the corner of 5 de Mayo and Montesclaros streets. It is adjecent to the Old Fort site, one half block from the Church of the Sacred Heart, City Hall, El Fuerte River and Central Plaza.
The Hotel was restored from nearly ruins by me over  20 years ago, and as an ongoing project , we have remolded this 250 plus year old Hacienda, and at all costs not changing the wonderful ambiance of yesterday, into a remarkable landmark.
Thru out the entire structure, are high open beamed ceilings, two to three foot thick walls, mexican tile and marble floors, various nichos and hand painted decorations. All furnishings are in keeping of the Spanish Colonial Era, including many antiques. Modifications, have been achieved by keeping the same historical design and motif, and yet with all modern convience of private baths, air conditioning in all guest rooms, bar and dinning rooms. In the open areas such as lobby and portales we have ceiling fans.
	Natural and artificial  huge boulders form a 15 person jacuzzi with over a 12 feet high waterfall over 25 feet long with plants and bugambilias in a most relaxing private patio.
Central Garden Patios are all paved in Mexican tile with lush green foilage and flowering bugambilias. With no doubt, the most beautiful and preserved Hacienda in northern Mexico.
